Shorten URLs
If you have a long, cumbersome URL, you can "shorten" it. This gives you a short URL that forwards to the original, long URL.
Required: Before you can use the shortener with your custom domain, you must set up forwarding for the custom domain. Then you'll be able to select your custom domain in the shortener.
- Log in to https://shortener.godaddy.com using your GoDaddy login information.
- Enter the long URL.
- From the Choose domain menu, select the domain name you want to use for the short URL.
- Click Shorten.
