GoDaddy sales tax
GoDaddy.com, LLC or its subsidiaries are subject to sales tax in all 45 states, including the District of Columbia, that impose a sales tax. Local counties, cities, and/or districts that impose and collect their own sales taxes may also be charged on your order in accordance with those taxing jurisdictions’ tax laws.
How Sales Tax is Calculated
Sales taxes are generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item. The tax rate that is used to calculate sales taxes is based on many factors, primarily the customer billing address and the type of product purchased. Since GoDaddy.com does not ship any tangible goods, all products and services are assumed to be received in the jurisdiction that the customer maintains their billing information.
