My VPS server SQL mode is changed automatically

    Hello,

I have a VPS server and before a week, SQL mode is changed automatically. So my application shows a error. It happening every month..

I don't know how is it possible to change automatically. Does Godaddy run any update or batch in my server?

How to avoid this update in future? Please let me know?

What specific mode is changing - GoDaddy to the best of my knowledge wouldn't be adjusting a setting - are you adjusting it via a my.cnf file or some other method - if it is not via a my.cnf and the database server restarts then it will not apply the setting when it restarts
