I enabled domain forwarding for my related site (https://cookies.forsale) to forward so that users arrive at my main website (https://pictureperfectcookies.com). It appears to be working if I directly type cookies.forsale into the browser. But when I go to Google and type in key words like: "gourmet cookies" my old GoDaddy site is listed in Google with the https://cookies.forsale link available. When you click the link, it is not working in the Google search results. I have cleared SEO as well. All I want is for https://cookies.forsale that is found in a Google search to forward to https://pictureperfectcookies.com. I tried to call the help desk, but I don't think they understood what I was trying to accomplish. Can someone help? I may be loosing customers who can't get to my page.
I get a message:
This site can’t be reached
cookies.forsale took too long to respond.

Hi @snhightower2015 and @ENVIROPURELIGHT. The free forwarding service that GoDaddy offers will not work with HTTPS. For example:
This will work
http://yourforwardeddomain.com > https://yournewdomain.com
This will NOT work
https://yourforwardeddomain.com > https://yournewdomain.com
I'm not sure why Google is adding HTTPS to the link, but that is likely why you're having this problem. Hope that helps.
@snhightower2015 - Search engines generally look at website content to determine how listings occur. My guess would be that the result you're seeing is what has been cached by Google. You could try using Google Webmaster Tools to have the domain crawled again. You can also try taking the steps in this Google help article. That might update the listing.
I have same issue, tried forwarding a dozen times and does not work, keep getting error, try again later. I keep trying over and over to forward my Forced-Success-System to https://www.noble8revolution.com/r/PAYITFORWARD so there is something wrong with GoDaddy for never had issues before.
